GradGuard's Emerging Professional Scholarship Recipients for 2022

In honor of conferences returning to in-person gatherings, GradGuard is happy to announce the recipients of this year's Emerging Professional Scholarship. The recipients of this award will receive a sponsorship to attend the ACUHO-I Annual Conference & Exposition within that calendar year, in the form of having their registration fee for the conference covered by GradGuard.

GradGuard's Emerging Professional Scholarship is presented to a mid-level professional in student housing or residence life who is within their first four to seven years of full-time professional-level employment. The recipient has time and time again, demonstrated outstanding performance to their campus and profession, therefore demonstrating the potential for a successful and effective career in student housing.

This year, GradGuard is excited to announce three recipients have been chosen for the scholarship.

GradGuard's mission is to help schools educate and protect students and families from the risks of college life. We accomplish this goal by providing financial protection for our campus partners and personal protection for the students they serve. Our team works closely with colleges, universities, national and local insurance brokers, and technology companies to securely enroll students in these relevant benefits within a PCI-compliant environment. More than 1 million students have been protected with GradGuard's leading tuition or renters insurance programs since 2009.

2022 Recipients:

Krysta Mahl - Washington University in St. Louis

The GradGuard team truly appreciates the passion and dedication that student housing professionals bring to the job every day, and the experience shared with us is a great example of these efforts.
